With Heavy Metal Machines, we feel there is a playstyle for each individual, and with the new ranking system this allows each player to shine. Rodrigo Campos, CEO commented: “We are thrilled to be announcing the new Ranked Mode for players, and the reintroduction of game pad support. The gamepad will expand the accessibility of Heavy Metal Machines, and now new players that already enjoy racing games with a gamepad will be able to jump straight in with ease. In addition to the new ranked mode, Heavy Metal Machines can now be played with a Game Pad, allowing players to have more choice with how they want to play, whether it’s with the keyboard and mouse, or a controller. To enter the new mode, players need to have at least five completed matches in their game account (custom matches do not count). At the end of the season, players will receive exclusive in-game rewards according to the highest Division they reached during the current season. Ranked Mode will be divided into seasons, with each season lasting a few months. The score is calculated with each player being placed in a Division Bronze, Silver, Gold and Heavy Metal. ‘Ranked Mode’ is a special match search queue, separated from Casual Mode, in which the matches played are accounted for an individual player score.
